The ReelDx Custom Skill is a feature that allows you to assess or inform your students in your own way. Utilize your program's specific assessment guidelines, ask your own questions, or add notes to the case with this feature. This article will show you how to use the ReelDx Custom skill.
Faculty
First, go to your courses page, and select the course you would like to have a custom skill on. Once at this page, select the Student Skills button.
Once you have selected the Student Skills button, select the Custom Skill button.
After that, you can fill in the title of the Skill, and what question (prompt) it will ask your learners.
Fill this box in, and your Skill is created! You can schedule this skill like any other. For more information on scheduling Skills, check out our How to Use ReelDx Skills article!
Students
When a custom Skill is assigned, students will see the custom skill at the bottom of the drawers in a case.
Once they click this drawer, they will see the prompt that you assigned.
Then learners can fill in the question and submit for your review!
